Algarve University

With 30 years as community service, the University of Algarve (UAlg) has consolidated its development, both in terms of organization and administration, both in academic and teaching. Comprising three campuses, Penha, Gambelas and Health in the city of Faro and a campus in Portimão, now has ample space, infrastructure and equipment which offer excellent conditions for study, work, research and socialization to a population of about 10 000 students, 700 teachers and 400 employees.

Responding to the challenges and demands of present time, UAlg fosters teaching and research quality, promotes mobility and investment in scientific and technological innovation.

Arts, Literature and History, the Basic Sciences and Engineering, Life Science, Earth, Marine and Environment Science and Health Technology, Science and Training Education and Economics, Management and Tourism are at the UAlg the ideal area to develop and broaden the horizons of the builders of the future.
