Welcome to the 13th International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology (QUATIC'2020), which is a forum for disseminating advanced methods, techniques and tools for supporting quality approaches to ICT engineering and management. Practitioners and researchers are encouraged to exchange ideas and approaches on how to adopt a quality culture in ICT process and product improvement and to provide practical studies in varying contexts.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, QUATIC'2020 will be held virtually this year.

QUATIC’2020 attracted a good number of submissions from different areas spanning over several thematic tracks, in various cutting-edge technologies of specialized focus, including namely: ICT Verification and Validation; Safety, Security and Privacy; Process Modeling, Improvement and Assessment; ICT Requirements Engineering; Model-Driven Methods; Agile Methods; Evolution in ICT / Reengineering and Refactoring; Quality Aspects in Machine Learning, AI and Data Analytics; Quality Aspects in Quantum Computing; Evidence-Based Software Quality Engineering; and Software Quality Education and Training.

The Technical Program Committee of QUATIC 2020 was made up of 150 international academic and industrial domain experts. Based on a rigorous peer-review process the best quality papers were selected for presentation and publication.

QUATIC’2020 will be a three-day conference with a technical programme including paper presentations, live keynote speeches and hot-topic panel sessions, and two co-located events: a PhD forum, and a Business Day event.
