13th International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology
Online Conference, September 9-11 , 2020
Covid-19 Update (click to read)
Dear QUATIC Community Members,
First and foremost, we all very much hope you and your families are keeping safe and well.
Following on from our previous message from April (on the "Covid-19" subject) we have now decided to hold the QUATIC 2020 edition as a fully online conference, and not at Universidade do Algarve, Portugal, as originally intended. The reason for this decision is the current pandemic situation and the remaining levels of uncertainty and impact over the next months.
Fortunately, for the 2020 edition we received a very good number of submissions, over 80 papers, and have selected 20 full and nearly 20 short papers, which helps guarantee a successful event.
This decision to run the conference online has led to reduced registration fees (see https://2020.quatic.org/registration), and on the conference program (see https://2020.quatic.org/program) that will be published in the next days.
Accepted papers will be included in a volume of Springer CCIS Series (Communications in Computer and Information Science) as originally planned.
Please let us know if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns by email.
Martin Shepperd, Program Chair
Fernando Brito e Abreu, Program Co-Chair
Alberto Silva, Organizing Chair
